On the 15th of December 2023, the CAB team embarked on a 3-day, 2-night team retreat at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The primary objective of this retreat was to create a relaxed and comfortable environment conducive to gathering and engaging in discussions about the future roadmap for CAB. The retreat included all CAB staff members, and we were honored to have two special guests in attendance: Mr. Mohd Noor Azhari, CEO of Malaysian Reinsurance Berhad, and Ms. Bibiana Edward, the Head of Market Services Division.

The first day primarily involved checking into our respective rooms, and thereafter, the CAB team resumed normal business activities until the end of the day.

The core activities of the retreat officially commenced on the second day, with the CAB team dedicating an entire day to discussions held in a specially prepared meeting room. These discussions were organized into three sessions, each covering different modules.

The primary focus of these discussions revolved around planning the future direction of CAB and enhancing the functionality of the CAB system. After more than 25 years in the industry, CAB is of the opinion that it is time to refresh the CAB system and its overall functionality.
